Ahh shit so I guess I am back. For the four of you guys who bitched at me for not updating im sorry. To all who didn’t know during july I was running a button sale and I pretty much was fucked on time for the whole month. Well the sale went great but I bet none of you guys are horribly interested in button news.
So what now? Im fucking working on updating the website so deal with it. The shows that happened the latest will be updated first so uhh its going to go backwards I guess. But what is new right now? Two updates one day? Well today if your lucky day if you spend your whole life just looking to see if there are any updates on the site. So there is a new section to the site its uhh for videos and right now there is only one and thats from punk rock prom. I don't think there are going to be a lot of edited videos but there will be some so uhh check it out.

Howdy all its Friday! And guess what? A new podcast is up. Uhh Stephen (piradical Productions) and I went to Rays house, the dude from Nice Guys Finish Last and we recorded the podcast. Its for the Company of Thieves show that is coming up in about uhh next week. Anyways the Podcast was rad to do, Ray had a usb microphone so we weren’t using my computers internal microphone. If you can tell a difference tell me and I’ll maybe think about getting a better microphone. Or uhh wait for Christmas to get one. Ray also video taped the podcast and I think he is thinking about making it into a video cast or something. So uhh if that happens rad!

Hey… Wait one second let me think… Well heres the updates there is uhh a new DKU Test Show in the podcast section. Oh yeah and that section is a little different. I think it looks a little better but if you don’t think so… well pay me to have a pro dude make this site? Hmm yeah that’s what I thought.
For all you guys that uhh went to the first show at the new Halloween House, Rad it was fun! Uhh Im predicting that the summer is going to kick ass because of that location. Hey after months and months and years and years we have finally started a weekly show. This weeks episode lasts somewhere around 40 minutes and consists of pat and kate from the Halloween house and James Sr from bolth. Its pretty silly. Theres the topic of the week with the new Halloween house and the surfacing infamous up scumbag article coming out. Then there is a shows update, a link of the week and pat blows his load for the dopamines. I promise that the podcasts will get better… maybe… Haha. Well that being said there is the first show at the new Halloween house on Sunday. You all should be there!

Hello to everyone who visits this site, I uhh don’t have much of a clue really who comes around but that’s cool if you do. Tonight or right now I’m uploading five new podcasts that jake and I did for upcoming ccs shows. Yeah we did five in about an hour and maybe a half and we made sure to keep up to the dku show preview show standards… If you have listened before then you will know what those standards are. Haha. One pod cast has something hidden in it. If you can find it congratulations… you lack a life! Just kidding but really not…
Uhh so it looks like a weekly radio show that features me and a co host is defiantly going to happen so look for a new one each week with different co hosts until one is picked. I think were going to release new ones every Wednesday. Why Wednesday day? Because it’s the shittest day of the week if you have a job… haha.6/3/08-

Uhh its been a while I guess maybe ten days since the last update or whatever but Bam! Pictures from four shows are up. Including Company of Thieves, PRP, Krum Bums, and the BMTI show. Yeah right on! Cool? Maybe so. Alright well heres what we are doing right now. Pat from the Halloween house and I are editing together some footage from Shot Bakers set from prp. Were doing some short of live video from their song bred to be perfectionist. I am also going to be taking some video footage from bigger bands from now on. Uh not whole sets but few songs. If that means anything to anyone. So their might be a new section a board the site.
Besides that Uhh I got a full time job for canvassing for the summer for an activist group called The Citizens Action Coalition. Its basically a group fighting for fair energy rights and what not. Unfortunately I personally will be missing out on a lot of shows because my hours are from 2 to 10 or 11 Monday through Friday. Fresh right off the uhh computer… There is a new podcast up in the podcast section of the site. It’s a Show Preview Show for the upcoming Bomb the Music Industry and Lemuria show. Check it out… Its kind of a new format for the decaying youth show preview show so tell me what you think if you don’t tell me then you will have to listen to crude forever!.

Alright Alright Alright! The site is updated like crazy! There are four shows up and ive spent the whole day putting them up and that’s all I have to say about that crap! Oi! With just one more final on Thursday I’m almost out of school so be prepared for shit to happen more often on this site over the summer. More decaying youth radio shows if you into that if not… go somewhere else? Uhh I think that’s it for now…

Looking for an update? Well Im looking for someone to do two take home finals, write 20 pages worth of essays and then read and review over 400 pages worth of material. So uhh sorry no pictures or updates will be happening for the next seven or eight days. If you want to look at pictures from the shows you can come over to my dorm room and look at them on my computer.

Oi! Long time no update... My feet hurt from the rockage that was tonight’s show. If you missed it oh well you missed yet another amazing house show put on by CCS. Somehow everyone in the basement decided that they were going to move around during Stuck Lucky’s whole set. Much karate chopping happed and it was fucking great. Everyone was fucking gross with sweat and what not. So pictures are up and they may kind of suck and not show the skarnage but oh well those who were there can speak stories of it.
As for other decaying youth news, there a butt load of great shows coming out. If anyone remembers the time I did a show that wasn’t the dku show preview show, I decided that I’m going to waste boring summer time into making a 30 minute weekly show out of it or what not. But im going to wait till im out of school and I might decide to go out and get a job or do buttons full time for the summer, who knows? I am also thinking about putting together a comp of Indiana music that kicks ass. I’ll have to sell it for a dollar or two and most of the bands and songs I bet you have heard but I think it will be cool to send around.

Like I said yesterday there is a new podcast up for Circle City Ska’s three dollar house show with the Bradleys, Rule 22 and Bolth. I saw the Bradleys in a basement in Bloomington last weekend and I was like this band is good. Then I went onto their myspace (http://www.myspace.com/thebradleys) and their tracks up there are pretty fucking awesome. You should go and check them out right now, I want a record from these guys when I can get a chance. Jake and I tried something new with this podcast so if you can guess how this podcast is different then our normal ones go on the board and guess (hint it rhymes with ska).
Lets talk about the Big D show last night. It was less then decent. First of all the eygption room blows, the sound sucks and the drinks are over priced (3 dollars for a can of soda). I was super excited to see Big D and 80% of the songs they played were off of Stricky Rude. I don’t really like DKM so I didn’t watch their whole set. I guess Indianapolis is a rest day for all bands or something. But at least they played in indy.3/11/08-
New podcast is up. The Decaying Youth Show Preview Show – Piradical Presents The Urinal Mints. Stephen and Kelso from Piradical Productions and I talk/rant about the show. So check that out. There is going to be two more DKU SPS up later this week for CCS presents Rule 22 and punkshots.com and Piradical Productions presents the Independents. Were going to try something fun with the Rule 22 show so check that one out. Tonight is Big D at the Murrat but I doubt I’ll be taking pictures. Deal with it!

Pictures from the Flatliners show are up now! Thank you to J.S. for contributing some great pictures as well. It was another amazing house show put on by Circle City Ska. The Flatliners remembered me from the last time they played in indy from when we did the minor threat cover set. They invited me to sing straight edge so I did and great time was had by all. The other bands all had great sets, Coinslot still rocked out even with their lead singer having bronchitis. Circle City Ska and bonus buddies are going to go see The Flatliners with NOFX in Cincinnati on Friday, the weather is going to be shit which will make it a way better bonding experience. For all of those who like Circle City Ska they (I) are currently trying to build a street team. In other news – I got pictures from the first two bands on the piradical productions march 1st show and will be putting them up sometime this week. Also it is my spring break and I am going to be working on the first hour long Decaying Youth Show. Its going to have interviews and what not so check it out when its done.

Hey good Monday morning. Its 1:30 AM and I have been listening to Shot Baker – Awake to get me through the updating. If you missed their set on Saturday I’m sorry. Check out their myspace at www.myspace.com/shotbaker . Check out the song Bred To Be Perfectionist, the band has solid music and golden lyrics to accompany them.
Anyways as to the actual update, pictures from The Toasters show are up and both weekend house shows are up so check them out as well. Besides that everything should be running smoothly and looking good (or better then the old site). There are a few things that I need to work on and then I can take the week off of working with website coding. The Next update will be around now next week because of another two show weekend. After many months of working on the site, Decayingyouth.com Version 2 is finally done. The Button part of the site is seperated from the Pictures and Podcasts section. Take a look around and this page will be updated often with Decaying Youth news and so bookmark it alright? I update this site a lot so check out this page.
